De eerste vraag die opkomt is: wat betekent Affenage? Dit klassieke franse woord is nu minder in zwang . Het komt van het woord \u201efoin\u201c, hooi en duidt op een opslagplaats van hooi en stro, een plaats waar de paarden kunnen eten en uitrusten zoals de ruiters, een \u201crelais\u201d, een afspanning , zoals meerdere kasteelboerderijen in de streek.<\/p>\n
